LA Farm is one of the single most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. The service was incredible from the moment I made my reservation, to when it came time to leave. They did not even mind that I had to shift my reservation time an hour or so. When me and my friend arrived, the staff was very pleased to have us, and chef Jean-Pierre came out to greet us personally, and to tell us about the specials. In fact, he even changed our appetizer order to something much more delicious by his recommendation. The food and presentation were both top notch. I had the steak, my friend had a seafood dish. All in all, we felt welcome and very satisfied. I can't wait to go back again.
LA Farm: elegant, sophisticated, delicious....pricey.
i really love the ambiance of this place and the food is tremendous. i came here for a weekday lunch and tried the following:
-braised short rib in a grilled cheese sandwich (holy snap!!) with french fries: OMG. melt in your mouth heaven--highly recommended
-macaroni and cheese: not your ordinary mac and cheese. this is made with gnocchi and a mixture of white cheeses including gruyere. rich, tasty, unforgettable
-tomato soup: yummy
the mahi mahi and club sandwich also looked pretty good. the bread they serve when you sit down is warm and addicting as well.
it definitely comes with a steep price tag but i came here for business so you can bet i went to town. :)
The yellowtail fish is very fresh and I remember the tomato soup as being very tasty. The service is very good - but caters to the business lunch crowd. The location is actually pretty tough to find since it is in a corporate building - so just park in the gated lot. Get validated.
I rarely give a restaurant five stars on my first visit, but all the signs point to me loving LA Farm over the long haul. The food was fantastic (I ordered the white fish), the presentation excellent, and the service impeccable. What I liked best, though, were the decor and ambiance. When I stepped into the restaurant I felt like I had flown away for a retreat and worldly cares were nowhere to be found. This won't be one of your regular spots if you care about money, but it should definitely be on your list to try at least once.

This hot Entertainment-industry spot is where elegant people dine gourmet at this lovely eatery. The Fine wine list is exceptional and the "patio" out back is always filled with industry types. For the body-conscious Angelenos, chef Jean-Pierre Peiny updated his French menu with a Zone Diet consciousness: The food, the flavors and the ambiance reigns supreme.
